ORANJESTAD (AAN): On Wednesday, DIARIO contacted a press attaché from the State Department of the U.S. to find out whether America will boycott Aruba or not.

At noon, DIARIO received an answer in writing from the U.S. State Department, which showed that America has not at this time put any boycott or travel restriction for Americans who visit Aruba.

The text, which the press attaché, Amanda D. Rogers-Harper sent to DIARIO, reads as follows: “As I indicated, there is currently no U.S. government boycott or travel restriction on U.S. citizens visiting Aruba.”
